About The Position

This position, located in Rocky Mount, serves as an administrative support professional responsible for a broad range of business and financial functions that support the Rocky Mount CDSA in maximizing agency revenue through accurate and timely reimbursement for services. Under the supervision of the Business Services Coordinator, responsibilities include processing public and commercial insurance billing, reviewing and submitting claims through NC Tracks, verifying Medicaid eligibility, and managing Prior Authorizations through the NC Tracks Operations Portal. The role involves troubleshooting billing and authorization issues, communicating effectively with providers to resolve claim discrepancies, and ensuring timely reimbursement for services. Additional duties include assisting with supply inventory, fixed asset management, purchasing activities, maintaining accurate business records, and other duties as needed. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to explain and interpret policies, procedures, and billing information to clients, providers, customers, and staff. Success in this role depends on maintaining a high level of accuracy, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support the agency's operational and financial goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain and interpret policies, procedures, and billing information to clients, providers, customers, and staff.
