About The Position

The Administrative Coordinator 4 position is a valuable part of the Jefferson Parish Housing Authority because of their function to perform complex, often specialized, paraprofessional duties that require independent judgment to accomplish in support of the staff members. This incumbent will work under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring proper time allocation is reported by comparing time sheets to generate reports and activities completed each day.
  • Assist with tax compliance by ensuring that the financial records are properly maintained and meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in contacting vendors when necessary to challenge invoices or resolve pending financial issues.
