Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is looking for an Administrative Coordinator who brings strong organizational skills, initiative, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you’ll be at the center of our administrative operations—managing records, coordinating communication, and helping ensure our facility functions efficiently. Requirements

  • Three years of experience in administrative services.
  • Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, gathers, and composes information for special assignments, reports, and administrative projects.
  • Prepares responses to inquiries received by phone or in writing, including drafting professional correspondence and letters of reply.
  • Provides comprehensive clerical and typing support for the division, including preparing documents, forms, and reports.
  • Operates computer systems for data entry, information retrieval, and report generation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains and organizes confidential files and materials, ensuring proper handling and security of sensitive information.
  • Oversees the division’s filing systems, including creating, updating, and archiving records.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail, manages inter-institutional correspondence, and identifies items requiring immediate attention or expedited processing.
  • Processes and enters employee time records, assists timekeepers by generating and printing required reports, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of payroll-related documentation.
