About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to the Risk and Insurance team until April 2027.

Requirements

  • Able to work with energy, showing initiative, resourcefulness, care for detail, neatness, and diligence, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.)
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates office calendar, including sending and accepting electronic invitations, reminders, and preparation for scheduled events/meetings.
  • Responds to emails and correspondence, coordinates data, and information to draft routine reports, as instructed.
  • Assists with tracking and maintaining ‘loss-events’ register.
  • Assists to maintain and file insurance documentation, including claim documentation, invoices, and correspondence with insurers; demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Assists with office records as they relate to the Risk and Insurance team, including creating and organizing files, maintaining contacts, and completing and storing confidential documents.
