About The Position

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for clerical functions and administrative support for food service programs at Avondale Schools in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Prior food service experience is required. The hourly pay range is $17.00 to $19.00. The role supports day-to-day administration, staffing, records, cash and meal-count reporting, vendor payments and reconciliation, and financial reporting. The position requires professional communication, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to maintain confidential information and a clean, safe work environment. Because work takes place in an educational facility, there may be unpaid temporary layoff periods during school breaks when food service needs decline or cease.
