About The Position

The Administrative Assistant performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, rent collection, data processing, and record keeping. This role also involves assisting the accounts receivable, payable, and accounting departments, as well as the CFO with rent renewal paperwork, and corresponding with outside agencies and ownership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of administrative experience

  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM

Responsibilities

  • Date stamp, sort and distribute inter-office and external mail
  • Communicate with residents; respond to their inquiries
  • Assist the accounts receivable, payable and accounting departments with administrative tasks
  • Assist the CFO with rent renewal paperwork
  • Correspond with outside agencies and ownership
  • Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
  • Prepare and process various projects' paperwork, edit and get approved for distribution
  • Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material
  • Other duties as assigned
