About The Position

The Facility Administrator will play a central role in supporting the launch and ongoing operations of our RPAS Innovation & Manufacturing Hub in Mirabel, Quebec. This position is responsible for coordinating facility setup, overseeing administrative and operational infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the site. Working closely with leadership, operations, engineering, and external service providers, the Facility Administrator will help establish structured processes, manage vendor relationships, support compliance requirements, and ensure the facility operates efficiently, safely, and professionally. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the operational readiness and long-term success of one of Canada’s most significant aerospace programs. This position is based in Mirabel, Quebec.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Facility Management or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of facility management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, safety, security).
  • Experience with ISO and Controlled Goods compliance.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a pre-requisite.
  • Comfortable in a startup or greenfield environment.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Canadian Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, maintenance, and infrastructure across production and office spaces.
  • Support facility planning, equipment installation, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee contractor/vendor relationships, budgets, and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with CGP, RSAP, and HSE requirements.
  • Support audits and certification readiness for ISO 9001/AS9100.
