Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll management for employees, including those located in Quebec and across Canada, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulatory requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar payroll-focused role
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong proficiency with payroll systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • High level of attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll certification from the National Payroll Institute

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the end‑to‑end payroll process for employees in Quebec and across Canada, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance of payroll processing with applicable regulations
  • Maintaining and update payroll systems and records
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related matters
  • Preparing and generate monthly and annual payroll reports and filings
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners
  • Managing and processing government remittances
