About The Position

Millworks By Design is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our accounting, purchasing, and administrative operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of office activities while assisting with routing invoices, purchasing processes, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of administrative and data entry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
  • Perform high-volume, accurate data entry for accounting and purchasing.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate office activities.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Management team support, as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
  • Perform executive assistant duties as assigned.
