Requirements

  • Previous customer service, food service, retail or grocery experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail operations department / administrative experience highly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency required.
  • Experience with Excel and inventory software preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Basic to intermediate math and computation skills required.
  • Skills to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written instructions.
  • Skills to exercise good judgment at all times.
  • Should have the ability to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the store staff and management with administrative and HR tasks, office maintenance, sign making, and marketing.

  • Stays thoroughly knowledgeable of store’s voicemail system, updates current voicemail info at each extension and maintains current store roster.
  • Ensures there is always phone coverage by being the first telephone operator.
  • Orders and purchases all office, break room and store supplies.
  • Ensures break room and office areas are orderly and clean.
  • Maintains upkeep of all office equipment and machinery.
  • Alerts management of problematic office equipment.
  • Distributes incoming and outgoing mail internal to company and external; includes faxes.
  • Updates bulletin boards/in-store communications, including all postings and flyers.
  • Conducts or assists with research projects as needed.
  • Maintains updated forms and packets for all staff and management.
  • Processes the token tally and sends to Accounting.
  • Processes gift cards for donations.
  • Supports and assists e-card program, senior and loyalty programs.
  • Prepares and maintains tags in store and communicates with Product Systems when necessary.
  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly tag / price audits.
  • Maintains end cap signs, sale and food service signs, tags, flyers, price changes, and POS scanning.
  • Executes printing of signage and promotional materials throughout the store.
  • Stays informed and engaged in carrying out store merchandising goals.
  • Assists with ensuring the monthly sales and promotional calendar is supported at all levels of the store to include signage and marketing materials.
  • Administer INFRA training programs.
  • Makes name tags, maintains lockers, mailboxes, discount cards, and keys as needed.
  • Works with HR and Payroll on various confidential matters.
  • Assists with activities around PTO requests, incentive awards, distribution of paychecks and loading of gift cards according to procedures.
  • Coordinates employee contests (photos, ballots, postings, quizzes).
  • Performs all bookkeeping duties.
  • Attends department meetings and take minutes, as requested.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
