About The Position

The Adjunct Music Instructor is responsible for providing quality music instruction to our students. The instructor is responsible for providing one-on-one instruction so that students are able to successfully complete graduation requirements and/or personal goals in an engaging environment.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field is required.
Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment criminal background checks and drug test.
Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
Work is performed on a smoke-free campus.

Responsibilities

Teaching weekly private music lessons in qualified areas of voice and/or instrument.
Preparing music students for performances
Maintaining a written record of each student’s preparation and progress throughout the semester
Reporting as needed to the department head or program coordinator
