Voice and Piano Teacher
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructors to teach part-time in person at The Musician’s Woodshed’s North Parmer location in Northwest Austin. Preference is given to candidates available on Mondays between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Instructors design customized lesson plans for each student, taking into account the student’s musical tastes, skill set, and personal goals. The school uses a performance-based, flexible curriculum intended to create an exciting, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. The successful candidate will have a strong music background demonstrated by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $28 to $34 per hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available to employees after 90 days on the job. Requirements
- Strong music background demonstrated by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience.
