Voice and Piano Teacher - Neighborhood Music
About The Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructor to teach part-time in person at Neighborhood Music’s Aurora, Colorado location. The instructor will teach students in a community music-school setting that emphasizes personalized instruction and nurturing students’ love of music and performing arts. Neighborhood Music offers instruction across classical, jazz, rock, and contemporary genres. Candidates must be available Sundays from 12:30–5:30 p.m., with additional days available. Instructors may set their availability within the school’s open hours; greater availability is preferred, and consistency is valued by students and staff. Pay is commensurate with experience and education. The posting states a range of $29–$33 per hour in the position description and $28–$33 per hour in the job details. Requirements
- Strong music background demonstrated by a degree in music performance or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
- Availability to teach Sundays from 12:30–5:30 p.m.
