Voice and Piano Teacher - Creative Music Center
About The Position
Creative Music Center is seeking a fun and professional voice and piano teacher to provide in-person instruction part-time at its studio in Monroe, Connecticut. Teachers may set their availability within the studio’s open hours; consistency is valued, and candidates with greater availability will be preferred. The role is with Creative Music Center, part of Ensemble Schools, a collaborative network of community-driven music and dance schools that shares resources while preserving each school’s unique identity. The instructor pay range is $32–$38 per hour, commensurate with experience. Health benefit options and a 401(k) program with employer matching are available to part-time and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment. Requirements
- A strong music background demonstrated by a degree in music performance or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- A demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
