About The Position
The School of Business at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), located in Beckley, WV, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, and Adventure Recreation Management. Applications are accepted year-round for potential openings in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters of 2026. The role involves teaching courses both in-person and/or online. Salary is determined on a per-course basis.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field, OR a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of full-time professional work experience in the course content area.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
- Commitment to teaching excellence.
- Responsiveness to student needs.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach in-person and/or online courses for the undergraduate programs in the School of Business.
