About The Position

Join Grand Canyon University’s College of Theology as an adjunct faculty member on our traditional ground campus. The College of Theology offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Christian Studies, with areas of focus including Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. Adjunct faculty provide engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods, current technology, and relevant industry practices. Requirements

  • Masters in Apologetics or Masters in Philosophy (PhD preferred) or Master of Divinity with coursework in apologetics or philosophy from an accredited college or university
  • 2 or more years of professional experience teaching apologetics, philosophy or ethics at the postsecondary level.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
