About The Position

Grand Canyon University's College of Theology is seeking an adjunct faculty member for its traditional ground campus. This role involves providing engaging, high-quality instruction in Christian Studies programs, including bachelor's and master's degrees with specializations in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ministry, education, and fostering students' academic and spiritual growth, utilizing innovative teaching methods, current technology, and relevant industry practices.

Requirements

  • Masters in Apologetics or Masters in Philosophy (PhD preferred) or Master of Divinity with coursework in apologetics or philosophy from an accredited college or university
  • 2 or more years of professional experience teaching apologetics, philosophy or ethics at the postsecondary level.
  • Must attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees before submitting application.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
