About The Position
Grand Canyon University's College of Theology is seeking an adjunct faculty member for its traditional ground campus in Phoenix, AZ. The College of Theology offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in Christian Studies, with specializations in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction utilizing innovative teaching methods, current technology, and relevant industry practices. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ministry, education, and fostering students' academic and spiritual development.
Requirements
- PhD (preferred), Master of Divinity, or other Masters degree in theological or intercultural studies with at least 12 graduate credits in systematic theology or intercultural studies from an accredited college or university
- At least 2 or more years professional experience preaching or teaching theology, biblical interpretation, or intercultural studies at the postsecondary level.
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
