About The Position
Grand Canyon University's College of Theology is seeking an adjunct faculty member for its traditional ground campus in Phoenix, AZ. The College of Theology offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in Christian Studies, with specializations in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction, utilizing modern teaching methodologies, technology, and industry-relevant practices. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ministry, education, and fostering the academic and spiritual development of students.
Requirements
- Master's in Divinity (preferred) or Master's in Youth Ministry or Master's in Theology or Master's in Christian Studies from an accredited college or university with Youth Ministry coursework
- 2 or more years of professional or teaching experience in the area of youth ministry.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
