About The Position

Grand Canyon University’s College of Theology is seeking an adjunct faculty member for its traditional ground campus. The College of Theology offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Christian Studies, with specializations in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership. Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction utilizing innovative teaching methods, current technology, and relevant industry practices. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ministry, education, and fostering the academic and spiritual development of students.

Requirements

  • MDiv, DMin, PhD, or MA from an accredited college or university.
  • Doctoral degree or Master of Arts must be in an area of missions or intercultural studies.
  • At least two years professional experience in the pastorate, mission field, or teaching missions/intercultural studies at the postsecondary level.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
