About The Position

Grand Canyon University's College of Engineering and Technology is seeking passionate faculty and faculty leaders to engage and mentor students, preparing them for the evolving fields of IT and Engineering. As an adjunct faculty member, you will serve as an energetic advisor committed to student growth academically, spiritually, and personally. You will be an expert in your field and a passionate educator, contributing to an enhanced college experience. This role offers rewarding part-time, face-to-face instruction opportunities at our Phoenix campus, with smaller class sizes and modern facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in any field and experience in higher education as an online or campus instructor or student services personnel or other administrative position in which teaching or learning or the use of technology and learning was paramount.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with relevant work related experience in the areas listed above
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in any field with 5+ years of professional experience in Professional Trades related to Electrical, Construction, Pluming, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
