About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring student success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. The course focuses on the principles and techniques of digital image processing and computer vision, including the use of image processing algorithms for tasks such as filtering, enhancement, and restoration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Bachelor in Statistics or closely related degree AND 18 graduate credits in AI.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Science in Computer Science OR Master's in Statistics or closely related degree AND proficiency in AI theoretical concepts and Python.
