NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach Physical Assessment. This course provides students with essential knowledge in physical assessment, focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance. The course includes a lecture component (PEM-117) and an associated integration lab (PEM-161). The lecture component integrates knowledge and terminology for physical assessment, including life span differences and assessment of acute and chronic patients. The lab component is scenario-driven, designed to develop team leadership skills and clinical decision-making, emphasizing paramedic assessment skills, treatment aims, and outcomes, drawing from knowledge in Physical Assessment, Cardiology I, and Advanced Trauma.
