About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an Addiction Therapist at Avenues Recovery at Bucks. The therapist provides individualized, evidence-based treatment for clients in a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The program partners with Crosswalk Sober Living, where clients may reside in a supervised domestic setting while receiving treatment. The therapist manages clinical care and aftercare for an assigned caseload, works closely with the treatment team and families, and models recovery principles in professional interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• Valid state licensure to practice in this role.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions.
• Take responsibility for clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate during crises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
• Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and families.
• Model honesty, accountability, dignity, respect, and other recovery principles in professional interactions.
