The ADA Coordinator is a grant-funded, full-time position in Bradley University's Operations department. The Coordinator leads institution-wide efforts to ensure accessibility and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other applicable federal and state laws and regulations concerning individuals with disabilities. In collaboration with partners across campus, the Coordinator provides leadership, guidance, and oversight for disability-related accessibility services and initiatives affecting students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role oversees disability accessibility-related services provided by university departments and offices, monitors institutional compliance, and serves as the central point of contact for reports of noncompliance, disability-based discrimination, and barriers to access in physical facilities and digital platforms. The Coordinator helps shape institutional policy, promote universal design and inclusion, and ensure the University's legal and ethical obligations to the disability community are met. The position is on campus, exempt, and scheduled for 40 hours per week as a 12-month appointment. It reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with Academic Affairs, Human Resources, Information Technology, Student Experience, and Facilities. Continuation is contingent upon the availability and renewal of grant funds; the position may be eliminated or modified if funding is reduced, terminated, or ceases. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Visa sponsorship is not available.
