About The Position
The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements occupational therapy services for inpatients and outpatients referred for occupational therapy. The role involves varied day-to-day functions and requires service orientation, analysis, and good judgment to ensure comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients. The position is full-time (1.0 FTE), on a day shift, with a schedule that includes rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Hold a State of Washington Occupational Therapist license.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of previous occupational therapy experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations.
- Evaluate and reevaluate patients, establish treatment plans, and modify plans according to patient needs and responses to treatment.
- Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Communicate with patients, peers, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care.
