About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal, part-time Activities Shuttle Driver at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. The driver operates non-CDL company vehicles to safely transport guests between destinations on and off the property, while sharing local information and providing a positive guest experience. The role is based at Nova Guides and Camp Hale, in the Vail-area mountains. This is a tipped position; the stated hourly minimum does not include potential tips.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
At least three years of driving experience and a valid driver’s license.
Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere in the vehicle.
Strong guest experience and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.
No high school diploma or GED is required.
Must have an unrestricted driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide local information, recommendations, and directions.
Ensure proper maintenance of the van and report mechanical or safety problems to management.
Drive company vehicles; maintain an unrestricted driver’s license and pass a DOT physical.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate records.
Immediately report incidents or accidents to management.
Maintain a safe atmosphere in the vehicle at all times.
Operate the vehicle calmly and safely in adverse weather, around other drivers, and near wild animals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
