About The Position

A customer in Tucson, Arizona, is hiring an ACI and/or ATTI Geo/Civil Field Technician for a long-term temp-hire position. The technician will gather and test soils, aggregate, asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials used on projects such as data centers, mining projects, highways, roads, sewer projects, dams, bridges, and parking lots. Duties also include density and compaction testing. Work will take place on construction projects in Tucson and nearby locations, including Douglas, Arizona. The stated pay range is approximately $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Employees will drive company vehicles and must have a clean driving record.

Requirements

• ACI and/or ATTI certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Geo Field Technician.
• Experience gathering and testing construction materials, including soils, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete, for varied projects such as mining sites, roads, bridges, and dams.
• Ability to work varying daily schedules on a variety of projects and work overtime as needed.
• Clean DMV/driving record.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dispatch environment as needed.

Nice To Haves

• MSHA certification.
• OSHA certifications.
• Experience or interest in working in an asphalt lab.
