About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is hiring an experienced Field Engineer for work in the Odessa/Midland, Texas area. GTA is a geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting firm serving clients across civil engineering and environmental consulting. The position supports project teams and client projects by providing accurate field data, dependable testing, and practical technical insight. It involves hands-on construction materials testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. Overtime and weekend work are required.

Requirements

ACI certification is required.
Experience with concrete and soils testing.
High school diploma is required.
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

NICET, ICC, or TxDOT certifications are a plus.
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geology is preferred but not required.
