About The Position

This is a remote position for an Accounts Receivable Team Member. The role requires a documented combination of skills and relevant work experience, with a strong emphasis on detail-orientation, organization, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various software and possess experience with claims submission, processing, and appeals. A private home workspace with a computer and stable internet is necessary, along with an understanding of information security and HIPAA. The position requires the ability to work normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

Documented combination of skills/relevant work experience
Proficient in: Excel, Google suite, Adobe PDF editor, data entry, keyboarding/typing, data processing
Experience with claims submission and processing, claims appeals, authorization submission, and appeals
Must be very detail-oriented and organized
Able to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Problem-solving, time-management, communication, and adaptability
Private home workspace with computer and stable/secure internet
Understanding of information security and HIPPA
Submit to a criminal background check
Two references are required
Must be able to work normal business hours 8 am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Reviewing and approving assessments (and associated documentation) for payout and billing
Reviewing claims information for accuracy
Data entry of remittance information
Submission of appeals and corrections for claims issues
Management of claims for timely payout
