About The Position
Waste Connections is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our GROWING team in Colorado Springs, Colorado! This role involves preparing and distributing invoices, analyzing and resolving customer issues, processing payments, and assisting with month-end close. Requirements
- Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute invoices for assigned billing cycles to customers
- Organize, produce, and finalize invoices for all special and sophisticated accounts.
- Analyze and resolve issues with internal and external customers.
- Create weekly accounts receivable reports and update payment status information related to past due accounts.
- Process credits/refunds to customers as necessary.
- Reconcile Wires, credit cards, cash and check payments
- Online decisioning for unidentified payments.
- Contact customers as needed.
- Maintain daily deposit log
- Assist in month-end and year-end close.
