About The Position

This position involves overseeing a portfolio of attorneys and client matters, ensuring efficient handling of check deposits and resolving billing issues promptly. The role requires effective collaboration with various departments to address and resolve billing inquiries, disputes, and reissues, while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounting systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Upholding confidentiality and integrity is crucial, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements

One to two years’ experience in a similar role
Experience involving multi-state/multi-business unit entities
High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Public accounting experience within a personal injury law firm is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain portfolio of attorneys and client matters to manage daily check deposits
Research billing status to facilitate resolution of issues and to ensure timeliness of approvals and payments
Collaborates with other departments to resolve billing inquiries, disputes, reissues and other issues
Maintains data integrity of all accounting systems
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Maintains unwavering confidentiality and integrity
Performs other duties as required.
