About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for processing customer billings, applying cash receipts, performing collection activities, with an emphasis on developing best practices and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous accounts receivable experience
• Microsoft Office experience with strong excel and word knowledge
• Pronto or other Accounts Receivable systems experience
• Proactive communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Process Improvement and proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on a regular basis
• Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines
• Willing and able to learn new job functions quickly
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while working at a computer
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer and handle documents
• Visual acuity to read documents and forms on a screen
• Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to exchange information
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration

Responsibilities

• Generate invoices to customers timely and accurately
• Apply cash receipts and record transactions in the accounting system
• Maintain accurate records by scanning, uploading, and filing documents
• Perform collection activities by communicating and cultivating relationships with customers
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and reconcile customer accounts
• Support other team members and foster a collaborative and positive working environment
• Other duties as assigned
