Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience working with Accounts Receivables or in a similar capacity.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone for the majority of the day.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional, personable, charismatic, and energetic demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• High levels of organization and efficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to think outside the box.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft software, such as Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Prior work experience with a restoration/mitigation company or in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of the water/fire/mold mitigation, contents cleaning, and pack-out business trade.
• Experience with Jobber, DASH, Quickbooks, and/or Xactimate.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounts receivable, including obtaining approval on work estimates, creating invoices, and collecting payments from clients, vendors, and insurance carriers.
• Answering incoming phone calls, responding to basic client inquiries, transferring calls, taking clear notes, and providing them to the appropriate person.
• Assisting the Operations team by updating job information, logging notes, calling clients, maintaining client files, contacting insurance agencies to verify client coverage, and accepting deliveries.
• Being available in the office during core working hours (8 AM - 5 PM), with a hybrid work-from-home schedule available after initial onboarding and contingent upon successful performance.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
