About The Position

Pico Propane and Fuels is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to process customer payments, maintain accurate customer account records, and assist with managing outstanding balances. The role works closely with customers and internal teams to support timely invoice payments and resolve account discrepancies. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.

The position is full-time and entry-level, located at the Del Rio Corporate office in Del Rio, Texas. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Ability to regularly and safely lift, carry, and handle supplies and equipment weighing at least 20 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and repeat the same movements.
• Ability to speak clearly and effectively with customers, coworkers, and business partners.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, administrative support, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Accounting Coordinator to complete allocated tasks.
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process and accurately apply customer payments and maintain payment records.
• Assist with billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies.
• Update customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records.
• Communicate with customers regarding account balances and payment status.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
