About The Position

We’re searching for an Accounts Receivable Administrator. Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and has a new opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Administrator in Surrey, BC at our Head Office. This is a hybrid role, however we are open to remote candidates anywhere in Canada. As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Accounts Receivable team, supporting daily accounting operations through accurate and timely transaction processing and reconciliation. You will work closely with branch, operations, and finance teams to ensure postings are accurate, variances are resolved, and service standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary training in Accounting/Business Administration
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Proficient in MS Office environments and ERP systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new applications

Responsibilities

  • Post and reconcile client payments accurately and on time, including in-branch End of Day transactions, Global Payments, and cash/cheque deposits
  • Reconcile Acturis postings to bank deposits and Global Payments reports, investigating and resolving variances
  • Follow up with branch staff on posting discrepancies and support timely corrections
  • Process electronic client and commission deposits, external finance company payments, and set up internal finance plans in Acturis
  • Complete daily Acturis tasks and support AR operations, interdepartmental workflows, and team projects as needed
