About The Position

Merrimack Manufacturing is a medical device manufacturer located in the Manchester Millyard. We are a growing manufacturing company that will play a crucial part in bringing innovative and life changing products to life. We are currently seeking a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting and finance team. This person will primarily be responsible for timely execution of accounting processes for A/P and other related areas in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task/be flexible in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
• Must be self-motivated and extremely organized with high attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience or Associates degree in accounting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 3-way invoice matching and inventory lot tracking in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Experience dealing with multiple entities a plus
• Experience with QuickBooks and Epicor preferred

Responsibilities

• Process, verify and post vendor invoices, including 3-way matching, as well as employee expense reports
• Monitor AP inboxes and respond timely to inquiries from vendors, staff, and other departments
• Address invoice discrepancies with involved parties and obtain approvals from project managers and engineering staff as needed
• Process weekly check run and supporting documentation
• As time permits, assist with other general accounting and administrative duties
