About The Position

A busy automotive dealership is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. The role requires administrative and organizational skills, basic accounting knowledge, and previous dealership experience. The specialist handles invoice and purchase order posting, vendor statement reconciliation, check issuance, routine accounting functions, assigned accounting schedules and general ledger accounts, and miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Requirements

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Proficiency with standard computer software and accounting software.
• CDK experience.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Post invoices into CDK.
• Post purchase orders.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Issue checks.
• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned.
