The accounts payable specialist processes accounts payable activities, which include processing parts, complete goods, and all other invoices. Requirements

1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office
Dealer’s Business System and other programs specific to the position
Internet functions
Proficient in accounting fundamentals
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Associate’s Degree in an Accounting/ Finance discipline
Ability to pass a pre- employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in an administrative role
Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting/ Finance discipline
Experience with using business system applications
Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry

Responsibilities

Verifies invoices for accuracy
Resolves discrepancies
Ensures payment terms are followed
Calculates discounts as appropriate
Enters all vendor invoices into the dealer business system
Prepares and processes checks or online payments in a timely manner
Accurately maintains vendor records and various records for tax purposes
Reconciles vendor statements
May assist other co-workers with related tasks
