About The Position

Woodcliff Hotel and Craftsman / Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to support its hospitality operations. The role focuses on invoice review and processing, payment runs, vendor setup and 1099 tracking, customer statement reconciliation, and maintaining accounts payable files. The specialist may also perform other duties assigned to meet business objectives. The position requires at least two years of accounts payable experience. Hospitality experience and multi-property accounts payable experience are preferred. Candidates should understand general accounting principles and accounts payable processes, be detail-oriented and organized, communicate effectively, and work accurately and promptly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of accounts payable experience.
Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
Thorough knowledge of the accounts payable function.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Skill in using personal computers, Microsoft Office—especially Outlook, Excel, and Word—and software applications.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality industry experience.
Multi-property accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

Review invoices for appropriate documentation, general ledger coding, and approval before payment.
Process, batch, and input vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests.
Process check runs.
Set up new vendors and track 1099s.
Reconcile customer statements and maintain accounts payable files.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
