About The Position

Woodcliff Hotel and Craftsman / Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. The position supports the company’s hospitality operations through invoice processing, payment preparation, vendor administration, and accounts payable recordkeeping. The role requires attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills, effective communication, and the ability to work accurately and on time in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of accounts payable experience.
Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
Thorough knowledge of the accounts payable function.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Skill in using personal computers, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word), and software applications.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality industry experience.
Multi-property accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

Review invoices for appropriate documentation, general ledger coding, and approval before payment.
Process, batch, and enter vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests.
Process check runs.
Set up new vendors and track 1099s.
Reconcile customer statements and maintain accounts payable files.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
