About The Position

Coborn's, Inc. is looking for an Accounts Payable Processor to join their Accounting team at their Support Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role is crucial for ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of an employee-owned company. The position offers the chance to work with an experienced and collaborative team, build accounting skills, and gain insight into a leading Midwest grocery retailer. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in producing accurate work.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process and post invoices accurately and efficiently using accounting systems.
  • Review invoices for appropriate account coding and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile invoice batches by balancing system entries to reports.
  • Process weekly Accounts Payable check runs as part of a rotating schedule.
  • Prepare weekly reclassification journal entries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice questions and discrepancies.
  • Support an efficient, accurate, and customer-focused Accounts Payable process.
