Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field OR Two years of progressively responsible work experience in accounts payable.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Typing ability of 30 wpm is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing and/or approving payment documents and resolving discrepancies prior to payment.
  • Responsible for coordinating daily activities, monitoring workflow, ensuring all invoices are paid by the due date, distributing checks, and providing payment information upon request.
  • Supervises and provides work direction to the Accounts Payable Specialist.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external customer by answering questions and providing training to ensure payment requests are accurate and completed properly.
