About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, maintaining financial accuracy, maximizing cost savings for clients, and serving as a reliable point of contact for vendor relations. The position also contributes to month-end close processes and requires adaptability to changing client needs and internal priorities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting services.
• High School diploma required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
• Proficient understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Tech-curious — you’ve used automation or AI tools to assist in your work and are ready to tell us all about it.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Uphold financial accuracy by verifying vendor tax identification numbers, resolving purchase order discrepancies, and executing corrections.
• Maximize cost savings for clients by identifying and capitalizing on early payment discounts and preventing penalties or duplicate payments.
• Deliver clear, actionable weekly aging reports.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for vendor relations.
• Contribute to accurate and timely month-end close processes by reconciling accounts payable records and collaborating with finance teams.
• Adapt quickly to changing client needs and internal priorities by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
