About The Position

Pacific Coast Producers, a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable & Purchasing Clerk for our Production Facility in Lodi, CA. In this temporary role, you will be providing critical administrative assistance to our purchasing department.

Requirements

  • A natural knack for numbers and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable processing.
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with purchasing workflows, specifically entering purchase orders.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning new software systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Validate pricing, quantities, and freight details to ensure every customer invoice is correct before it goes out.
  • Assist with processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Support the purchasing team by accurately entering purchase orders (POs) into our system and assisting with related documentation.
  • Maintain precise financial and purchasing records, ensuring all data entry matches internal standards.
  • Partner closely with AP and Purchasing team members to keep workflows moving efficiently during peak season.
