Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, internal controls, and financial reporting support
  • Strong ERP, Excel, analytical, and process improvement skills
  • High school diploma required
  • 4+ years of AP or accounting operations experience
  • Works under minimal supervision and may act as a senior team resource
  • Advanced AP operations
  • Complex reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Internal control compliance
  • Cash flow and aging analysis
  • Audit preparation and support
  • Process improvement and automation support
  • Training and mentoring of junior staff
  • Proficient Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a senior resource within accounts payable operations, overseeing complex transactions, supporting financial control compliance, and providing guidance to junior staff.
  • Contributes to reporting, process improvement, and financial analysis activities that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Complete complex or high-value AP transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Analyze aging trends, cash flow impacts, and account variances to support financial decision-making.
  • Resolve escalated payment, billing, or account issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead or support initiatives to improve workflows, automate processes, and strengthen controls.
  • Coordinate documentation and responses for audit requests.
  • Contribute to management reporting, variance analysis, and process performance reviews.
  • Assist HR in process of payroll weekly
