About The Position
The Accounting Technician II position is classified as Grade J and is available January 2027. The workday spans 8.5 hours, with the start and end times to be determined by the administration. The position is scheduled for 215 days per year. Minimum training and experience: two years of college with at least 12 semester hours in accounting, plus at least two years of bookkeeping or related experience. Additional years of related experience may substitute for each year of the college requirement. Alternatively, applicants may qualify with a bachelor’s degree and 18 semester hours of accounting coursework. One year of accounts payable experience in a medium to large organization is preferred.
