About The Position

4LEAF, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician I to join its rapidly growing construction-industry company. The position focuses on coordinating billing and processing approximately 100 monthly invoices, with backup support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reception as needed. The successful candidate will have accounting or customer service experience, a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work independently, solve problems, and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role in Pleasanton, California, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated salary range is $28 to $34 per hour, depending on experience and skill set.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in customer service or accounting.
Dedication to quality and customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.
Strong attention to detail, high organization, and a sense of urgency.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Ability to adapt to changes in business conditions and environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with multiple deadlines.
A strong understanding of GAAP.
Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with problem-solving ability.

Nice To Haves

Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Process approximately 100 monthly invoices.
Review invoices for accuracy and completeness and obtain Project Manager approvals.
Submit invoices to clients and respond to billing questions.
Track budget amounts and provide information to clients upon request.
Perform light collections for assigned accounts.
Provide backup support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reception as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
