About The Position

Next Generation Management & Accounting Services is a professional property management and accounting company specializing in condominium and homeowners association (HOA) management. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Support / Administrative Assistant to join our team in Sunrise, FL. This position provides administrative and accounting support to the accounting team and includes hands-on assistance with homeowner accounting, document management, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable handling financial documentation and confidential information in a fast-paced office environment.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes preferred
  • Proficiency with scanning, document management, and office equipment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
  • Previous administrative or accounting support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining and reviewing homeowner ledgers
  • Scan and organize correspondence and financial documents
  • Print and prepare checks as directed by the accounting team
  • Scan and properly document homeowner payments
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of attorney disbursement letters
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
  • Support accounting and management teams with special projects and daily tasks
