About The Position

33Floors is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Accounting Operations Specialist to support day-to-day accounting functions. The role owns key financial processes, including monthly client invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, expense reconciliation, and time-tracking audits. Working closely with the Controller, the specialist will manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, global environment and serve as a contact for clients and internal team members on accounting matters. The position is full-time, salaried, and remote in the USA; the Santa Barbara, California area is preferred.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounting operations, accounts payable/receivable, or client billing.
Proficiency with web-based applications.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and G Suite.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Excellent time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently, resolve challenges, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-service oriented.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Experience with client invoicing in a professional services or consulting environment.

Responsibilities

Own the full monthly invoicing cycle.
Manage monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with expense reports and expense reconciliation.
Review timesheets weekly and conduct time-tracking audits.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal team members regarding invoicing, payment inquiries, and other accounting-related matters.
Perform other accounting duties as requested.
